Libya’s AFCON 2025 Qualifiers Kick Off with Home Match Against Rwanda

Libya’s national football team will begin their journey in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers with a home match against Rwanda. Scheduled for September 4th at Tripoli International Stadium, the game will kick off at 6 PM local time and will be officiated by Mauritian referee Ahmad Imtiaz.

Libya’s campaign continues with an away match against Benin on September 10th in Abidjan, with Mauritanian referee Abdul Aziz Bouh overseeing the encounter. These fixtures mark the start of Libya’s efforts to secure a place in the AFCON, which will be hosted by Morocco in 2025.
