Mohammed Salisu Applauds Monaco’s Strong Performance in 2-0 Win Over Lyon

AS Monaco defender Mohammed Salisu commended his team’s impressive performance in their 2-0 victory over Lyon in a French Ligue 1 clash. The Ghanaian international played the entire match, contributing to Monaco’s dominant win at Groupama Stadium during the Week 2 fixture.

After a goalless first half, Monaco secured the victory in the second half with goals from Eliesse Ben Seghir and Lamine Camara. Salisu, who has been a key player in both of Monaco’s games this season, celebrated the win on Instagram, stating, “Another win and good performance today. This is the way. Let’s keep going.”

Unfortunately, his compatriot, Nuamah, had to leave the game due to injury just 17 minutes in, casting doubt on his availability for the upcoming Black Stars AFCON qualifiers against Angola and Niger.
