Mohammedan SC Extends Contract of Ghanaian Defender Joseph Adjei

Indian Super League side Mohammedan SC has secured Ghanaian centre-back Joseph Adjei with a contract extension through to 2025.

Adjei, who previously played for Legon Cities, was pivotal in leading Mohammedan SC back to the Indian top division and has been rewarded with a new and improved deal. He is anticipated to be a key figure in the team’s efforts to maintain their topflight status.

The club announced the extension with enthusiasm, stating, “Guess whoโ€™s back to defend and conquer? Welcome back, Joseph Adjei! No breaking through here!”

Adjei has already resumed training with his teammates as they prepare for the new season. He will be joined by Ghanaian compatriot Abdul Kadiri Mohammed, who also signed with the club this summer. Adjei’s career has spanned South Africa, Oman, the United States, and Saudi Arabia before his move to India.
