Ghanaian defender Gilbert Narh Djangbah has officially joined Moldovan champions Petrocub Hincesti during the summer transfer window. The 20-year-old versatile center-back was signed after being discovered through the fan platform Nordensa.
Nordensa confirmed the signing, stating, “FC Petrocub Hincesti welcomes another top talent from Nordensa! Gilbert Narh is the latest addition to the current champions of the Moldovan Super Liga. The complete defender is ready to make an immediate impact and strengthen FC Petrocub Hincesti’s defense for the upcoming season.”
Narh, known for his ability to play across the backline, is expected to fortify Petrocub’s defense as they pursue European success and aim to defend their league title. He joins Petrocub alongside fellow Ghanaian defender Manuel Nana Agyemang.
Petrocub announced the signings on social media, highlighting, “Petrocub made three more transfers! It is the former midfielder of Dacia Buiucani, Dumitru Bivol (22 years old), and the Ghanaian defenders Manuel Nana Agyemang (22 years old) and Gilbert Djangbah Narh (20 years old).”
Narh has previously had a brief stint with Ghana’s U20 team and is eager to make his mark in European football.
