Myron Boadu Excited for VfL Bochum Move: ‘I Can’t Wait for the First Home Game’

Dutch-Ghanaian striker Myron Boadu has expressed his excitement following his loan move to VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga.

The 23-year-old forward has joined the German club from AS Monaco on a one-year loan, with an option for Bochum to purchase him for around €10 million next summer.

After completing the move, Boadu shared his enthusiasm, saying, “I’ve heard a lot about the Bundesliga and the incredible atmosphere in the stadiums. It’s supposed to be amazing, especially in Bochum. I can’t wait for the first home game. My goal is to settle in quickly and contribute my qualities to the team.”

Boadu, who transferred to Monaco for €17 million four years ago, is looking to rejuvenate his career in Germany after a period in France marked by injuries. Despite these setbacks, he showed promise last season with Twente Enschede, scoring three goals in his first eight appearances on loan.

The talented forward, who has earned one international cap for the Netherlands, is expected to make a significant impact in the Bundesliga. His move to Bochum is seen as a crucial addition to the team’s attacking lineup for the upcoming season, and Boadu is eager to regain his form and fitness in this new chapter of his career.
