Northampton Town manager Jon Brady has expressed his enthusiasm for the club’s latest acquisition, Tariqe Fosu, highlighting the winger’s impressive pedigree. The 28-year-old Ghanaian international has signed a one-year deal with the Cobblers and is set to make his debut in Saturday’s Sky Bet League One match against Bristol Rovers. Fosu joins Northampton Town after a period without competitive action, following an unsuccessful move to Turkish Super League side Hatayspor from Brentford. Despite trials with MLS club Charlotte FC and training with his former team Charlton, he remained without a club until now.
Brady emphasized Fosu’s experience and quality, noting that his versatility and pace make him a valuable addition to the squad. Fosu has over 250 senior appearances under his belt, including time with Brentford, Stoke City, and Rotherham United, as well as successful stints in League One with Charlton and Oxford United. Brady expressed confidence that Fosu’s creative and attacking style will significantly boost the team’s success and that fans will warmly welcome the new signing at Sixfields.
