Prince Kwabena Owusu Signs with Saudi Arabia’s Al-Alhadayah SC

Former Bibiani Goldstars forward Prince Kwabena Owusu has joined Saudi Arabia’s Al-Alhadayah SC on a two-year contract, keeping him at the club until 2026. Owusu, who chose the move to the Middle East over interest from Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak, signed with Al-Alhadayah SC on a free transfer after declining to extend his stay with the Miners.

Owusu was a key player for Goldstars, particularly after their promotion to the Ghana Premier League in 2021. He scored 19 goals in Division One League Zone Two, earning the Top Scorer award. Over his three campaigns in Ghana, he netted 16 times and provided seven assists in 86 appearances. With more than 100 games and over 35 goals across four seasons with the Miners, Owusu also has experience with the Ghana U23 team
