Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey played a crucial role in Arsenal’s 2-0 triumph over Lyon, securing the Emirates Cup and wrapping up their pre-season on a strong note.

Partey started and delivered a solid 77-minute performance as the Gunners clinched the win at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal took an early lead through French defender William Saliba in the 9th minute, with Brazilian centre-back Gabriel Magalhães doubling the advantage before halftime. Despite a goalless second half, Arsenal comfortably held on to lift the trophy.
