Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has designated the Legon Stadium as its temporary home venue for the 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League season due to the closure of the Accra Sports Stadium for renovations. The National Sports Authority (NSA) also announced the closure of the Cape Coast and Baba Yara stadiums for similar upgrades. Hearts of Oak will play at Legon Stadium for the next three weeks, starting with their match against Bechem United on September 22. After two consecutive defeats, the club is eager for a victory under coach Aboubakar Ouattara.
