Antoine Semenyo Named Bournemouth’s Player of the Month After Stellar August Performance

Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo has been named AFC Bournemouth’s Player of the Month for August, following a remarkable start to the 2024-2025 Premier League season. The 25-year-old has scored twice in three league games, playing a pivotal role in Bournemouth’s dramatic 3-2 comeback victory over Everton at Goodison Park.

Semenyo’s impressive form places him among only four Premier League players to have scored or assisted in every game so far this season. His performances have drawn praise, including from pundit Jamie Redknapp, who described Semenyo as “worth a fortune.” After the international break, where Semenyo featured in Ghana’s AFCON qualifiers, Bournemouth is set to face Chelsea on Saturday, September 14, at the Vitality Stadium.
