Former Director of the University of Ghana’s Sports Directorate, Dr. Bella Bello Bitugu, has urged a paradigm shift in society’s approach to sports, emphasizing that sports offer much more than just a competitive edge. The four-day event, themed “Exploring an Integrated Approach to Disasters and Conflict Response through Medical, Sports, and Social Perspectives,” attracted educationists from universities in Austria, Burkina Faso, and Ghana.
