Black Stars Train at Baba Yara Stadium Ahead of AFCON Qualifier Against Angola

The Black Stars of Ghana conducted their training session at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Tuesday in preparation for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Angola. Ghana will host Angola on Thursday, September 5, 2024, in their first match of the qualifying campaign.

After an initial training session at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, where 10 players reported, the squad relocated to Kumasi. The current camp includes 22 players, among them Frederick Asare, Joseph Wollacott, Thomas Partey, Antoine Semenyo, Brandon Thomas-Asante, and Mohammed Kudus.

Following the Angola fixture, Ghana will head to Morocco to face Niger in their second group match as they aim for a strong start in the AFCON 2025 qualification journey.
