Former Black Starlets coach Laryea Kingston has embarked on a new chapter in his career as the head coach at RPS Academies in Saint Lucie, Florida. Kingston, who holds a UEFA Licence B coaching certificate, will oversee the football department at the multi-sport academy, which also offers disciplines such as tennis, golf, volleyball, and pickleball. His role includes developing young football talents and implementing game models he has designed. Under a five-year contract, Kingston will undergo performance evaluations every two years. Kingston, who previously worked with Right to Dream Academy and Danish club Nordsjaelland, expressed enthusiasm for the role, noting it aligns with his passion for combining education and sports. He aims to expand the academy’s talent recruitment network to Africa and is open to future opportunities with the senior national team or his former club, Hearts of Oak.
