English Premier League giants Chelsea have extended a trial opportunity to Ghanaian youngster Stanley Quarshie, who currently plays for VIM Academy in Ghana. The left-footed centre-back traveled to London to train with Chelsea’s youth team in hopes of securing a contract.
Known for his agility and versatility, Quarshie joins a growing list of Ghanaian players who have trialed with Chelsea, following the likes of David Oduro, Fatawu Ganiwu, and Vincent Morbilla. Chelsea has shown increasing interest in Ghanaian talent, with successful past signings like Michael Essien, Baba Abdul Rahman, and the late Christian Atsu.
