Hearts of Oak legend Mohammed Polo has urged the club to dismiss coach Aboubakar Ouattara following their 1-0 defeat to Premier League newcomers Basake Holy Stars in the season opener. The loss at the Accra Sports Stadium has sparked concerns about the team’s readiness for the new season.

Polo criticized Ouattara for his lack of commitment to securing the league title and questioned his leadership abilities. “Ouattara lacks control and the spirit to lead Hearts of Oak,” Polo told Bryt FM, adding that the coach nearly led the team to relegation last season and should be sacked.
