Former Accra Lions defender David Oduro has expressed his excitement after joining FC Barcelona’s B team, Barcelona Atletic, from the Ghana Premier League side. In an interview following his unveiling at the Johan Cruyff Stadium, Oduro shared how much the move means to him, highlighting his long-standing support for the club since childhood.

The 18-year-old, who played a key role in helping Accra Lions secure a second-place finish in the Ghanaian top flight, emphasized his determination to work hard and eventually break into Barcelona’s first team. Oduro was unveiled alongside fellow Ghanaian player Aziz Abdul Issah, who joined from Dreams FC.
