Black Stars winger Joseph Paintsil has called LA Galaxy’s record-breaking accomplishment in Major League Soccer (MLS) “amazing.” The Galaxy became the first team in league history to have four players each score at least 10 goals in a season, following their 4-2 win over Vancouver Whitecaps, where Paintsil netted his 10th goal of the campaign.
Paintsil, alongside teammates Gabriel Pec, Riqui Puig, and Dejan Joveljic (who leads with 14 goals), celebrated the milestone, with the Ghanaian winger praising the collective effort. “Kudos to the technical team, kudos to everyone involved… it’s really a plus for us, and it will give us the confidence to achieve even more,” Paintsil said, reflecting on the historic achievement.
