Asante Kotoko head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has expressed his high expectations for the club as they aim to rebound in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
Following a difficult campaign last year that saw the Porcupine Warriors struggle for the title, Coach Ogum is committed to driving the team towards success. In an interview with 3Sports, he emphasized his goal for the season: to achieve numerous victories and revive the club’s winning tradition.
“We should expect this team to perform well and win more games by the end of the season. Kotoko is known for winning games. If you coach or play for Kotoko, it’s a task you must accomplish,” he stated.
Currently sitting 7th in the league table with three points and an outstanding match in hand, Kotoko is gearing up for their Week 3 clash against newly-promoted Young Apostles. A victory could propel them up the standings.
Coach Ogum’s ambition is clear: to lead Kotoko back to their winning ways and place them firmly in contention for the league title this season. The match against Young Apostles is scheduled for Sunday, September 22, at the Len Clay Sports Stadium.
