LA Galaxy’s Joseph Paintsil Visits Chief Imam and Plans Fadama Astroturf Renovation

Ghanaian winger Joseph Paintsil, currently with LA Galaxy, recently visited the national Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, in Fadama. Despite missing Ghana’s match against Niger due to passport issues, Paintsil took the opportunity to honor his roots. He pledged to renovate the Fadama Astroturf, where he began his football journey, as a way to give back to his community. Paintsil expressed his gratitude and commitment to supporting the next generation of players. He is set to return to the US soon to continue his successful Major League Soccer season, where he has already scored eight goals and provided seven assists in 24 matches.
