The awards ceremony, set for September 21 at the Accra Sports Stadium, will recognize Okine’s achievements, including representing Ghana in multiple African Cup for Club Championships (ACCC) and her resilience in overcoming injuries to continue competing. She also played for Ghana’s Female Masters team in world tournaments and is passionate about mentoring future hockey players, drawing inspiration from her mother, former national goalkeeper Cynthia Akwele Lamptey.
