Thomas-Asante Expresses Commitment to Black Stars’ Success
Black Stars forward Brandon Thomas-Asante has reaffirmed his dedication to Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team ahead of their 2025 AFCON qualifier against Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Thursday, September 5.
In an interview during a training session at the Accra Sports Stadium, the Coventry City striker, who recently committed to playing for Ghana, emphasized his desire to contribute to the team’s success. Thomas-Asante made his Black Stars debut in June, helping Ghana secure a 4-3 win over the Central African Republic in a 2026 World Cup qualifier.
“I want us to be victorious on the pitch, and when I come on, it’s an opportunity to make a difference. I have it in my heart to see us succeed as a nation. I’ve seen what we’ve achieved in the past, and we want to accomplish even more. I’m ready to contribute to that,” he said.
Thomas-Asante recently moved to Coventry City from West Bromwich Albion in the EFL Championship.
