Under-Pressure Otto Addo to Represent Ghana at CAF Coaches Symposium in Abidjan

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is set to attend the CAF Coaches Symposium in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, on September 12 and 13. The symposium will focus on key discussions about the 2023 AFCON, which was held earlier this year. Addo, who replaced Chris Hughton after Ghana’s group stage exit from the 2023 AFCON, faces mounting pressure following a poor start in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers, where Ghana lost 1-0 to Angola and drew 1-1 with Niger. Ghana currently sits third in Group F with just one point, trailing Angola and Sudan. Top coaches such as Pedro Goncalves, Emerse Faé, Collin Benjamin, and Avram Grant are also expected to attend.
