Wasiru Mohammed’s Bout in Germany Against Barakat Called Off

The highly anticipated international debut of Ghanaian boxer Wasiru “Gyatabi” Mohammed, scheduled for September 21, 2024, at the Telekom Dome in Bonn, Germany, against Bishes Barakat, has been canceled. Mohammed, a former national champion and WBO Africa and Global titleholder, expressed his disappointment over the cancellation. The bout, organized by Prime Fighting Promotion, may be rescheduled for November or December. Managed by GBA Board member John Marfo and coached by Lartekwei Lartey, Wasiru remains optimistic about his future, vowing to return stronger.
