2025 AFCON Qualifiers: Black Stars Have Potential, but Proper Planning Is Key – Augustine Ahinful

Former Ghana international Augustine Ahinful believes the Black Stars still have a bright future despite their poor start to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers. After a 1-0 loss to Angola, a 1-1 draw with Niger, and a goalless stalemate against Sudan, Ghana sits in third place with just two points. Ahinful emphasized that the team has potential, but achieving success will require a solid plan. The Black Stars are in Libya for their second-leg match against Sudan, scheduled for Tuesday at the Martyrs of February Stadium.
