AC Milan head coach Paulo Fonseca addressed the possibility of Samuel Chukwueze and Christian Pulisic playing alongside each other. Chukwueze, who had a strong pre-season but has recently been on the bench, has found it challenging to compete with Pulisic, who has been in excellent form this season, with six goals and two assists in nine games.

In a pre-match press conference before Milan’s clash with Udinese, Fonseca confirmed that the two can play together, stating, “Pulisic is not playing open right now. He is a playmaker on the right. It is possible.” Fonseca has fielded the two together in the starting lineup twice this season, demonstrating Pulisic’s versatility, playing both behind the striker and as a left winger.
