Black Stars coach Otto Addo has outlined his determination to push for Ghana’s first win in the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers. Despite the team’s struggles, with only two points from their first three games, Addo remains hopeful ahead of the next must-win match against Sudan in Libya, following a goalless draw in Accra.
Addo acknowledged the challenging situation but emphasized that Ghana still controls its qualification destiny. While he refrained from making promises, he assured fans that the team would give their best effort. “We will try our best, and I know that in the end, we will be rewarded,” Addo stated.
He also stressed that while winning the next game is crucial, it doesn’t guarantee immediate qualification, acknowledging the difficult road ahead in the AFCON 2025 qualifiers.
