Ajibade to Lead Super Falcons Against Algeria in Lagos Friendlies

Super Falcons’ head coach, Justine Madugu, has called up captain Rasheedat Ajibade, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, and 23 others for two international friendlies against Algeria, scheduled for October 26 and 29 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos. This marks the team’s first home friendlies since 2021. Notable call-ups include Turkey-based Oluwatosin Demehin and Spain-based Gift Monday, alongside several home-based talents and players from the recent U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.

The Algerian team is expected to arrive on Wednesday, with both matches approved by CAF and to be officiated by FIFA referees from Benin Republic.
