Former Flying Eagles coach, Fatai Amoo, has commended Nigeria’s interim manager, Augustine Eguavoen, for his positive influence since taking charge of the Super Eagles in September. Eguavoen, in his fourth stint as coach, has remained unbeaten in three games, securing two wins and one draw. Amoo acknowledged the team’s improved offensive style but noted that public expectations may not have been fully met. He highlighted the efforts of wingers Moses Simon, Ademola Lookman, and Samuel Chukwueze while calling for tactical adjustments and player reshuffling as the team prepares for its next AFCON 2025 qualifier against Libya.
