Asisat Oshoala Omitted from Nigeria Squad for Algeria Friendlies Despite Regular NWSL Appearances

In a surprising decision, six-time African Women’s Footballer of the Year, Asisat Oshoala, has been left out of the Super Falcons squad for the upcoming friendlies against Algeria, despite her active involvement at Bay FC in the NWSL. Head coach Justine Madugu has called up captain Rasheedat Ajibade, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, and 23 others for the matches, set for October 26 and 29 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.
