Former Golden Eaglets striker Kehinde Ayinde has voiced his support for interim manager Austin Eguavoen’s choice to select Victor Boniface to lead Nigeria’s attack against Libya. The Super Eagles are set to compete on October 15 at 5:00 PM in Uyo, aiming for a victory in front of their home crowd. Eguavoen’s 4-3-3 formation features a solid back four and a midfield trio of Alex Iwobi, Frank Onyeka, and Wilfred Ndidi. With star striker Victor Osimhen unavailable, Boniface will spearhead the attack alongside wingers Ademola Lookman and Moses Simon. Ayinde praised the selection and expressed confidence in the team’s blend of youth and experience, highlighting their strong performances in European leagues. Currently leading Group D with four points, the Super Eagles are eager to secure another win to enhance their chances of qualifying for AFCON 2025 in Morocco.
