Ghana’s Black Satellites secured an important 2-0 win against Niger in their second group match at the WAFU U-20 Zone B tournament, held in Togo. After a 2-2 draw against Benin in their opening game, Ghana was eager for their first victory.
Despite a goalless first half, Ghana came out strong after the break, with Aziz Musibau breaking the deadlock just after the hour mark with a powerful long-range strike. He then doubled the lead in the 73rd minute, finishing from close range to ensure all three points for his team.
This victory gives Ghana four points, putting them in a strong position to advance to the next round of the competition.
