Black Galaxies Begin Second Batch of Camping at Prampram Ahead of CHAN 2024 Qualifiers

The second group of Black Galaxies players has commenced camping at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram for assessment and screening under head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani. The selected players from this exercise will form the core team for Ghana’s upcoming Championship of African Nations (CHAN) qualifiers against Nigeria.

Coach Dramani explained that this exercise is intended to increase competition for squad selection and ensure a highly competitive team for the qualifiers. The players are being monitored based on data gathered from various clubs, including Ghana universities and lower divisions, to ensure their readiness for the team.

Ghana is preparing for a crucial two-legged encounter against Nigeria in December 2024, with the winner securing a spot in the CHAN 2025. The matches will be held in Ghana between December 20-22 and in Nigeria from December 27-29.

The Black Galaxies, with a history of reaching the finals twice, aim to redeem themselves after their quarterfinal exit in the last tournament. The upcoming clash promises to be a thrilling continuation of the Ghana-Nigeria football rivalry.
