Brazilian President Lula Proposes National Team Selection Exclusively for Domestic Players

In a bold move, Brazilian President Lula da Silva has suggested the national team should be composed solely of players based in Brazil, excluding stars like Vinícius Jr., Rodrygo, Militão, Endrick, and Raphinha. During an interview, Lula stated, “In Brazil, there are good players of the same quality as those abroad, so give opportunities to those who are here.” The proposal was made during a meeting with the president of the Brazilian Football Confederation.
