Enyimba, Nigeria’s sole representative in this year’s CAF Inter-club competitions, has been placed in a challenging group in the CAF Confederation Cup. The Aba-based club will face current title holders Zamalek, Egyptian side Al Masry, and Mozambique’s Black Bulls in Group D, dubbed the “group of death” by analysts.
Enyimba, former CAF Champions League winners, aim to make history by becoming the first Nigerian club to win the Confederation Cup. The top two teams from each group will progress to the quarter-finals.
