The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has formed a disciplinary panel to investigate the cancellation of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier between Nigeria and Libya. The Nigerian team withdrew from the match, citing safety concerns after being detained at a Libyan airport for nearly 16 hours without assistance. Led by Senegal’s Ousmane Kane, the panel includes members from several African nations, including Kenya’s Jane Njeri Onyango (Vice-President). CAF condemned the mistreatment of the Super Eagles and vowed to hold those responsible accountable.
