Head coach of Bibiani Gold Stars, Frimpong Manso, has advised the Black Stars to shift their focus from qualifying for the 2025 AFCON to securing a spot in the World Cup.

Following a lacklustre performance in the AFCON qualifiers, where Ghana is third in Group F, Manso believes the team should prioritize building a committed squad for future success.

He expressed disappointment in the team’s current form and urged Coach Otto Addo to consider replacing underperforming players with more motivated local talent. Ghana faces Angola and Niger in November for their final AFCON qualifying matches, though their chances of qualification are slim.
