Dutch-Ghanaian forward Deabeas Owusu-Sekyere delivered an outstanding performance, contributing two assists in Zhejiang Professional’s 2-0 win against Wuhan Three Towns during the Chinese Super League Round 28 clash at Wuhan Sports Centre Stadium.
Owusu-Sekyere’s first assist came in the 20th minute, setting up Leonardo for a goal from the centre of the box. The game remained tense until stoppage time, when Owusu-Sekyere provided another crucial assist to Yao Junsheng, whose left-footed strike in the 90+3rd minute secured the victory.
Despite Wuhan’s 58% possession and 20 shots, they struggled to break down Zhejiang’s defence. Zhejiang, on the other hand, made the most of their chances.
Owusu-Sekyere now boasts nine goals and four assists in 28 league appearances this season. Zhejiang Professional is set to face Port FC in the AFC Champions League on October 24th.
