Ghana U20 national team head coach, Desmond Ofei, has expressed confidence that new players have improved the squad for the 2024 WAFU B U20 Championship in Togo. Despite only retaining seven players from the gold-medal-winning squad at the African Games, Ofei believes the new additions have maintained and even enhanced the team’s quality and intensity. Ghana currently leads Group A and aims to secure a spot in the semi-finals with a win against Togo on Wednesday.
