Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe Criticizes Otto Addo for Avoiding Local Talent in Black Stars Team

Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) chairman, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has voiced his concerns about Otto Addo’s reluctance to build the Black Stars around local players. This follows Ghana’s 2-0 loss to Sudan in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers. Dr. Tamakloe revealed that despite encouraging Addo to focus on homegrown players during a meeting at the Ghanaman Soccer of Excellence, Addo expressed fear of being ridiculed if the approach failed. The loss has sparked questions about the commitment of the players, as Ghana sits third in Group F with just two points from four matches.
