Dreams FC Nominated for CAF Male Club of the Year 2024

Dreams FC has been shortlisted for the Male Club of the Year award at the 2024 CAF Awards, as announced by CAF on Thursday. This recognition comes after an outstanding debut campaign by the Ghanaian club, where they reached the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup. Despite their remarkable journey, Dreams FC’s progress was halted by Zamalek, who went on to win the title.

The club faces stiff competition for the award from top African teams, including Atletico Petroleos, Young Africans, Simba SC, TP Mazembe, Zamalek, Mamelodi Sundowns, ES Tunis, RS Berkane, and reigning champions Al Ahly.

The awards ceremony is set for December 16, 2024, in Marrakech, Morocco, marking the country’s third consecutive time hosting this prestigious event. The CAF Awards honour excellence in both club and national football, with winners recognized in categories like CAF African Player of the Year for both men and women. More details on the event’s schedule will be announced by CAF soon.
