Everton are reportedly planning a January transfer bid for Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze, who currently plays for AC Milan, according to Sportblog247.com.
Sean Dyche’s side, sitting 16th in the Premier League, has struggled offensively, netting only nine goals in their first eight games. Meanwhile, Chukwueze has found limited playing time at Milan, playing second fiddle to Christian Pulisic. Despite the challenge of securing the Nigerian’s services mid-season, Everton sees him as their primary target to bolster their right-wing attack.
The potential takeover of Everton by The Friedkin Group, who are purchasing Farhad Moshiri’s 94.1% stake, could provide the financial backing necessary for the move. However, the Toffees are also considering Bologna forward Santiago Castro as an alternative.
