Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have booked a place in the final of the WAFU B U20 Championship after defeating Niger Republic 3-1 at Stade de Kegue, Togo. Despite an early setback with Niger’s opening goal, Nigeria rallied back with two goals from Clinton Jephta and a late strike from Alonge Olalekan to claim victory. This win also qualifies Nigeria for the U20 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
In the final, Nigeria will face their historic rivals, Ghana’s Black Satellites, who edged past Côte d’Ivoire 2-1 in their semifinal. Both teams are now set for an exciting showdown as they prepare to compete in the U20 AFCON.
