The Technical Directorate, in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service (GES), is set to launch the Football 4 Girls Project in the Brong Ahafo Region from Tuesday, October 15, to Thursday, October 17, 2024. Organized by the Brong Ahafo Regional Football Association (BARFA), the three-day event will involve basic school girls from eight local schools, including Aboabo No.1 M/A Primary School, Aboabo No.2 R/C Primary School, and others. Launched in 2022, the Football 4 Girls initiative is part of the Ghana Football Association’s Women’s Football Strategy, aiming to develop football skills in girls aged 6 to 12.
