The Ghana Cricket Association (GCA) is set to hold its annual congress on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the Theodosia Okoh Hockey Stadium in Accra, starting at10 a.m.
The congress, chaired by GCA President Mr. Emmanuel Asare will be attended by delegates from the General Assembly.
Ahead of the event, Mr. Asare shared that the agenda will include the presentation and approval of the auditor’s report, as well as proposals for amendments to the GCA constitution. A key highlight of the congress will be Mr. Asare’s report, which will cover Ghana’s successful hosting of the 2023 African Games, the redevelopment of the Achimota Cricket Oval, and other notable events from the past year.
He encouraged all stakeholders to attend, as crucial decisions regarding activities and developmental plans for the upcoming cricket season will be discussed.
