Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, and Sierra Leone, Disqualified from UFOA A U17 Tournament After MRI Tests

The Organizing Committee of the UFOA A U17 Tournament has disqualified Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, and Sierra Leone from the 2024 Senegal edition. This decision follows MRI tests, revealing that each of the three teams exceeded the number of ineligible players permitted under the U17 Africa Cup of Nations regulations.

According to Article 27.4, any team with four or more ineligible players based on MRI tests will be disqualified. The updated tournament format now includes Senegal, Gambia, Liberia, Mali, and Mauritania in a single pool.
