Ikpeba Criticizes Kudus for Outburst After Ghana’s Loss to Sudan

Former African Footballer of the Year, Victor Ikpeba, has criticized Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus for his lack of composure during West Ham United’s 4-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur on October 19. Kudus was sent off after slapping Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven in the closing stages of the match, a reaction Ikpeba attributes to the player’s frustration over Ghana’s recent 2-0 defeat to Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Kudus is expected to face a multi-match ban following the incident.
