Jordan Ayew praised his Leicester City teammates for their resilience and determination after a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory over Southampton at St. Mary’s. The Foxes found themselves trailing 2-0 in the first half, with goals from Cameron Archer and Joe Aribo giving the Saints an early advantage.
However, Facundo Buonanotte sparked Leicester’s revival in the 64th minute before Jamie Vardy equalized from the penalty spot following Ryan Fraser’s red card. Ayew completed the comeback with a low-driven shot in the eighth minute of stoppage time, sealing back-to-back wins for Leicester.
Ayew commended the team’s second-half performance and credited the manager’s encouragement for the turnaround.
