Joseph Agbeko Foundation to Host New Generation Fight Night in Kitase, Peduase on Nov. 8

The Joseph Agbeko Foundation is set to host the New Generation Fight Night at the Kitase Basket Court in Peduase, Eastern Region, on November 8, 2024. This event is part of the community’s festival celebrations, aiming to provide entertainment through sports. The tournament, which has garnered significant attention, will showcase rising boxing talents, including light heavyweight Benedict Badoo, nephew of former IBF Bantamweight Champion Joseph Agbeko. Badoo will make his professional debut against seasoned fighter George Amuzu.

Agbeko, also known as Torgbui Kaletor II, emphasized that the event is focused on the future stars of boxing, featuring juvenile and amateur bouts. He expressed gratitude to local chiefs for their support. Sanctioned by the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA), the event is organized in collaboration with Game TV and aims to promote both boxing and local tourism.
