Experienced Kaizer Chiefs defender Thatayaone Ditlhokwe is reportedly looking to leave the club in the summer. The 26-year-old Botswanan captain has been sidelined this season, with new signings Inacio Miguel and Rushwin Dortley taking his place in the squad. After missing the opening game against Marumo Gallants due to suspension, Ditlhokwe has yet to feature in the current campaign.
Former Chiefs defender Morgan Gould, who faced similar struggles during his time at the club, offered Ditlhokwe advice, urging him to stay focused and work hard to regain his place in the team. Gould reminded Ditlhokwe of the reasons he joined Chiefs and the importance of self-belief during challenging times.
Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi is already looking ahead to the upcoming January transfer window, with a particular focus on strengthening the club’s attacking options. In an interview with SABC Sport, Nabi acknowledged the difficulties in finding top-quality strikers in Africa, but he remains committed to bolstering the squad in key areas.
