Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly preparing to extend striker Ranga Chivaviro’s contract following his impressive performances under head coach Nasreddine Nabi. The 31-year-old forward has already netted two goals in three league appearances this season, cementing his role as the club’s main striker. Chivaviro had previously struggled in his debut season, scoring just four goals in 20 matches. However, his pre-season form, where he scored four goals in a single match, has caught the attention of the club.
According to Soccer Laduma, the Chiefs are looking to secure Chivaviro’s future with a new two-year deal to avoid any last-minute contract negotiations. Although the deal isn’t finalized, it signals the club’s trust in the striker, even as they continue their search for additional attacking reinforcements in January.
